ScriptSay is an Android App designed fortheVisually Impaired to scan prescription barcodes and providetheability to record a voice description for theprescription.Alternately, ScripSay can be used for any productcontaining abarcode. ScriptSay is very easy to use. Simply tap thescreen andgive a valid voice command. Or you can click the buttonat thebottom of the screen.Home ScreenUpon starting the app, please wait approximately 4 seconds foritto initialize before giving any voice commands.After the app initializes it will tell you about the app.To scan a new bar code item, tap the screen and say SCANorsimply touch the Scan Button.You can delete an item by scanning it, wait for thevoicedescription, then tap the screen and say DELETE.You can then record a new description for the item if desired.The following are valid commands:SCAN - scans a new barcode.DELETE - deletes a previously recorded barcode.LIST - describes all the available commands.HELP - describes how to use this app.ABOUT - description of the app.GIVE - provides information on how to donate.Scan ScreenAfter giving the SCAN command, this screen will appear. Oncethescan has beensuccessful, either the currently recorded description willbeplayed, or you will beprompted to record a description for this item.There are no commands available for this screen.To return to the Home Screen, just touch the phone'sbackbutton.Record a Description for a New ItemThis screen provides the ability to record a newvoicedescription of the item.Simply touch the screen or the Start Recording button to beginyourrecording.Once finished with the recording, touch the screen again ortheStop Recording button.After stopping the recording, touch the Screen again or theSaveRecording Buttonto save the recording. Once saved, the new recording willbeplayed.The next time you scan this barcode, this voice descriptionwillbe played.Touching the phone's back button will take you the HomeScreen.The recording willbe discarded.
